Calcium Sulphate

Calcium sulphate dihydrate the like mineral plaster or stone, is a sedimentary rock of chemical origin. Deposits of this type of material originated as a result of supersaturated aqueous solutions in shallow seas, the waters evaporated million years ago.

The plaster is usually deposited in layers several meters thick which mining is carried out in open pits.

In addition to the usual uses in construction and in its most varied transformations, the plaster has hundreds of applications that make it essential.
